...knitting hiatus....

I starting knitting relatively recently. 2011 to be exact. I had always been artistic and had drawn since I could hold a crayon... but the feeling of making something 3D is just different. You can hold it. Someone can love it. Or maybe it's because I designed the pattern.... but it truly feels like "my hobby". This is what has made the last three and a half weeks so frustrating!

I didn't even do anything to it. I just type at work, and knit (probably a little too much) at home. Because my body is kinda pathetic (it really is, trust me) my wrist just kinda gave out, and my hand bone decided to make an appearance on the top of my hand. It feels a bit better (the Chiropractor did something to it on Thursday and I can move it around more..... the Physiotherapist tried to shove the bone back in it's place... but the bone won that battle, much to my dismay. It was feeling better, but I was turning pages while filing referrals today and it's getting cranky. Delightful.

This is the bone that's sticking out. It doesn't look like much, but it's definitely not in the right place. Needless to say I'm going insane sitting around reading books on my iPad (though I do enjoy reading... just not from after work until bed...). I really want to knit! Maybe not a doll a week (though that was fun and I was SUPER excited about it). Just a leg. The occasional arm. I'm going nuts with all this beautiful yarn around me and not being able to do anything with it! I'm going to start physiotherapy (more on that later) and get some exercises--- so keep your fingers crossed that I'll be good as new and making dollies again soon!

A view I'm getting accustomed to...
This is why 52 Dollies is on Hiatus. I'll definitely finish knitting 52... even if it takes me into 2014!

Have a lovely weekend!
